Rigatoni Lights

Hello! Firstly, I’d like to thank all my new Instagram followers. We’ve only been on Instagram a few days and already we have some 60 followers, which is very exciting! You can take a look here: instagram.com/goodbodystudio

This post is dedicated to the lovely Rigatoni lights by the Hand and Eye Studio, whom I came across at the Clerkenwell Design Week 2017. They are based in London, and specialise in beautiful earthenware and terracotta pendant lights. Rigatoni Lights 1

Made of ridged terracotta, they work particularly well in clusters and come in three sizes and two colours — plain terracotta and matt blue.

I love their attention to detail: just look at the careful geometric patterning of the copper detailing on the top, and the ruby-burgundy cord. The traditional material crossed with such a simple modern style makes them very adaptable. You could just as easily imagine them hanging over a English country kitchen table as in a sleek London pad.

Items are made to order and typically take 3-4 weeks. Rigatoni Lights 2
