Intimidated by the prospect of building a new kitchen or bathroom? Not sure where to start?

GoodbodySTUDIO is a design&build company specialising in small residential refurbishments in West London.

Our clients are generally first time buyers or those wishing to downsize, who want the job done quickly, efficiently and economically but with the reassurance that their project will be managed for them.

We are in a unique position in that while our core site team is small and local, we also have the support of project managers who oversee everything, as well as a larger sister company whose in-house team can provide many more specialist contractors where needed, from plumbers and electricians to joiners and interior designers.

How we work

It’s all very simple. Once we’ve received your initial enquiry, we’ll make a site visit and discuss your plans and ideas.

We will then send you our ideas and the quote for you to consider.

If you are happy with everything and would like to take things forward, we ask for a deposit payment before we proceed. The specifications, the schedule of works and plans are then finalised — and the build starts.

We can manage the entire project for you, from dealing with suppliers and deliveries to co-ordinating with all the different trades – depending on what you need us to. You can now relax, while we sort everything out for you!

Once everything is completed, we make a final visit to sort out any snagging that needs to be done.

Et fini!

Frequently Asked Questions

I have no idea what I want to do with my new kitchen/bathroom. Can you help with some ideas?

–Yes of course! Depending on scale and budget we can offer anything from general advice to plans. In the meantime, start thinking about the kind of colour scheme and style (traditional, modern?) you would like.

What types of work do you undertake?

–We can undertake most types of small renovation projects, that take between 1-4 weeks to finish: bathrooms, kitchens, general decoration.

What areas of London do you work in?

–We primarily work in Central-West London: Ladbroke Grove, Shepherds Bush, Chiswick, Notting Hill, Fulham, Parsons Green, Acton, Earl’s Court etc. but are always happy to hear from people outside of these areas.

I only have a tiny budget. Can you still help?

–Yes! Hopefully. It all depends on what you want, but we can always talk you through different options.

Will I have to move out of my home during the works?

–Almost certainly not, if you are happy adapt your life around the building works for a few weeks. We aim to keep the site as tidy and clean as possible throughout. We do ask that children and pets are kept away from the works as much as possible.

I want to manage the project myself, will this be possible?

–We are very happy for clients to buy their own products and appliances. We do however advise that everything is on site before we start, and that GoodbodyStudio should manage all the different trades, as this can be difficult at times and we find it much more efficient if this is managed in-house.
